Kuala Lumpur, 8 July 2010 - Gillian Chung, the one half of pop duo Twins who is better known as "Gill" was in Kuala Lumpur to promote her latest romantic comedy The Fantastic Water Babes. The press conference was delayed for more than an hour as Gillian has lost her luggage at the airport upon arrival. Clad in an aqua colored top and black tights, she apologized to the media for the delay and they gave her a warm welcome.

The Fantastic Water Babes marks the come back of Gillian Chung into the movies after a three-year hiatus. At the press conference, she related her experience in working with director Jeff Lau and co-star Alex Fong. "Director Jeff is a very fun and friendly person, which helped to nurture my role in the movie. He's very fun to work with", says Gillian. "It is a challenge for me to act in a swimming role as I'm afraid of the water", she added.

Jaz Beer which is the star tour presenter for this movie also presented Gillian Chung with a souvenir in the form of a float during the press conference. Gillian is Jaz Beer's brand ambassador and was here to promote the movie and attend a photo shoot for the beer's new campaign. After the press conference, Gillian joined the meet-the-fans session held at the hotel's poolside which fans got to meet her up close and personal and had fun playing games by the pool.

Later in the day, Gillian Chung also made a public appearance at Berjaya Times Square Boulevard. She appeared cool and elegant in a cream colored top with frills and black tights, to a cheering crowd of fans. She had fun judging some of the games played on stage and then moved on to GSC Berjaya Times Square to attend the Gala Premiere.
