Latest Movie: Mark Wu Shows You The Funny in Undercover Duet

The jovial Mark Wu returns to the big screens with his latest movie this month. The screenwriter/director/actor who brought us the erotic comedy 3D Sex and Zen and the story about a teenager’s sexual expedition Due West: Our Sex Journey, is taking his humour up a notch, ditching the raunchiness of previous films and going with his charm and wit. The latest movie Undercover Duet, written and directed by Mark Wu, in which he co-starred with award-winning Hong Kong actor Ronald Cheng is a buddy comedy that’ll hit cinemas today! Mark Wu stars as the aspiring actor James Man, who enters himself in a male pageant TV show in hopes of winning the contest to fund for his visually impaired sister’s (Ava Liu) eye surgery. Things turn dicey when James happens upon a fatal car accident involving a second generation rich, Roger Li (Terry Zou) which became the talk of the town. Being the only witness, James suddenly faces the danger of getting whacked to seal his lips. The horseplay begins when childhood friend and undercover cop Dream Dragon (Ronald Cheng) enters the picture to investigate the suspected case of manslaughter. Mark Wu’s latest work is filled with plenty of spoofs on pop culture and current events including a parody of Mission Impossible and Transformers.

To promote his latest movie, Mark Wu paid a visit to Malaysia just last weekend. Tailed by two Abercrombie and Fitch-esque studs, he takes to the street of Kuala Lumpur in search for good eats and of course seizing the opportunity to spread the word on the not-to-be-missed Undercover Duet.
