Now You See Me 2: One of 2016’s Most Exciting Heist-Action Movies

With just a few days away from hitting the theatres, the anticipation continues to build up as one of 2016’s most thrilling heist-action movies, Now You See Me 2, introduces fresh faces to join the already established roster of actors from the original 2013 cinema movie. Following the box-office success of the original film, Now You See Me, the Lionsgate’s new movie release and upcoming sequel is set to offer a roller coaster ride of mind-bending magic tricks, illusions, and jaw-dropping stunts that makes it a must-add to your movie list of upcoming movies to catch this June.

After a one-year hiatus, the Four Horsemen reunite and embark on an adventure triggered by a new villain, who hires the stage magicians to pull off their most impossible heist yet. The returning stars Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Dave Franco will be reprising their roles in one of the most anticipated action movies this year. Among the exciting addition to the cast are Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan, and Jay Chou.

It has been confirmed that Isla Fisher will not be returning as Henley Reeves/The High Priestess, one of the members of the magic quartet known as the Four Horsemen, in the upcoming sequel. Lizzy Caplan fills the sole female role as a new member of the notable quartet, Lula, whose eccentric vibe and dry wit are displayed throughout the trailer. The Now You See Me 2 trailer also showcases a teaser of Lula’s magic abilities when she shook a number of birds out of her coat.

Jay Chou as Li

Jay Chou, a Taiwanese musician and actor, joins the new addition of stars in the magic thriller sequel. This will be the second time the Asian superstar will be displaying his acting skills in a Hollywood film, his first being 2011’s The Green Hornet. In Now You See Me 2, Jay Chou will be playing the role of Li, the transatlantic counterpart to the Four Horsemen. With more than enough talent and loads of magic involved, this sequel will surely leave us wanting for more.

Now You See Me 2 is among the new movies and action movies with an eclectic mix of characters. And Daniel Radcliffe playing the delightfully quirky Walter Tressler, an inept magician and a tech mogul, simply spells M-A-G-I-C. The plot takes a new turn as Walter enlists the Four Horsemen to pull off a dangerous heist. Does the fact that Daniel Radcliffe plays the son of the one of the quartet’s victims makes him the new villain of the story?
