The romantic movie is about Adam and Eva who met at law school. They have been together faithfully for ten years. They’ve stayed by each other’s side through the best times and the worst. After a while, Adam decided to pursue his passion for sports and physical fitness. He started a Thai boxing studio. From then on, he started focusing too much on his career not realizing that he was already taking Eva’s love for granted.

The couple start to drift apart because of Adam’s insensitivity. For instance, when Adam forgot that Eva hated raisin cookies and processed fruit or when he didn’t make an effort to get along with her family. Eva, hurt and lonely, decides to break up and move out of their home leaving Adam crushed. In a drunken haze, Adam sleeps with a student from his boxing class, adding oil to the fire.

Adam then finds Eva’s journal entitled “77 heartbreaks”. There, she has written the 77 times that she forgave Adam because of how much she loved him. Eva’s words melt Adam’s heart and makes him want to get her back. But, alas, the last page of the journal where the 77th heartbreak was written was torn away. What could have Eva got so heartbroken about? Could she find the heart to forgive Adam for the 78th time? Don’t miss this latest movie release coming to cinemas!

This upcoming movie was directed by Herman Yau, famous for directing the Ip Man movies. The new movie stars Charlene Choi as Eva, she is well-known for her portrayal of Dani Dan in the Chinese movie Simply Actors. Alongside Choi stars Pakho Chow as Adam, and Michelle Wai as Mandy.
