A bumpy start to his show biz career where he started off as a stuntman and was usually assigned roles as a bumbling sidekick caught the eyes of his daughter who encouraged him to ditch the unbecoming roles. He then went on to star in the tearjerker “Between Hello and Goodbye” with best pal Alan Tam and managed to bag the Best Actor Award in the 11th Annual Hong Kong film Awards. With his amusing appearances and voice, Eric Tsang is the embodiment of funny. Therefore, he has produced and starred in numerous comedies throughout the years; many of them are Chinese New Year releases. This Chinese New Year, Eric Tsang will once again take to big screens in his latest movie, a parodic comedy of Stephen Chow classics. Don’t miss it in cinemas!
Chow Yun Fat
The charismatic, robustly built Chinese movie star has made it in the show biz as far as Hollywood which is an incredible feat considering Asian actors are as scarce as a hen’s teeth back in the day. This is all thanks to his roles in the high-octane, blazing gun fire action movies by Asian action movies director John Woo. That aside, he is also well known for his early works in various comedies including his role in the God of Gamblers as the God of Gamblers. His ability to play such a wide spectrum of different roles from a comedic buffoon, to a trigger-happy assassin demonstrates his genius as an actor and has put him in high demand in the film market even to this day. This Chinese New Year Chow Yun Fat is bringing the God of Gamblers back to the big screens in the upcoming crime comedy From Vegas to Macau 2. Catch the old school make over in cinemas this holiday!
