The classic 1983 horror story by English writer Susan Hill first spawned the hit stage adaptation in London’s West End in 1987 and continues to perform even to this day making it one of the longest running plays in the history of West End. The story’s supernatural appeal eventually found its way to the big screens two years ago when Daniel Radcliffe took on the role of Arthur Kipps, entering the domain of the vengeful spirit that preys on the children of anyone who is unfortunate enough to cross her path.

With the positive reception of the first movie, a sequel is now ready to be unveiled! With a storyline devised by Susan Hill herself, and a screenplay scripted by Jon Croker, The Woman In Black is making a return to the big screens and in due course, your nightmares! The story brings us back to the Eel Marsh House 40 years after the initial haunting, in the midst of the Second World War whereby children who are fleeing the war are evacuated out of London and into none other than the Eel Marsh House! It is then when the Woman in Black once again makes an eldritch appearance. You would’ve thought there would be warning signs around the house by now before serving up a buffet menu of The Woman in Black’s favourite course!
