Directed by Rocky Soraya, the new movie release revolves around newlyweds Anya (Shandy Aulia) and Daniel (Denny Sumargo) taking on their happy beginning together in a new house in Bandung. Their sweet married life immediately starts to become ugly when one day, he arrives home from work and accidentally brought a doll with him. It was the strange doll hanging on a tree on the site he was working on as an engineer. Anya, being a doll maker, thought it was a great idea to take it with them, only to find out that the doll was possessed.

Strange things began happening to them, like the doll moving on its own and a little girl giggling in the night. When their neighbour Niken (Vitta Mariana Barrazza) sees it, she reveals that the doll is actually named Ghawiah which means “the evil one who follows its desires”. It is said that it used to belong to a little girl named Uci who was brutally murdered along with her whole family by a robber. But is it really all there is to it? Why them? The devastating plot twist awaits you in cinemas.

Creepy dolls have always been a perfect horror movie material – from Chucky, to Anabelle, to Brahms, and now Ghawiah joins the gang. Seriously, who wouldn’t be creeped out by them?
