Honorary Academy Award Winner Jackie Chan is Back with 2 Back-to-Back Action Movies!
Looking for some history-rich action movies? Well, look no more! World-class martial artist, director, actor, singer, and the new addition to his resume; Honorary Oscar winner, Jackie Chan, is back with 2 new action movies with superb martial arts choreography and action-packed stunts that will take you in different parts of time!
A blast from the past is clearly what you need! The first of the 2 action movies to come out is set in the World War II era. The movie depicts the story of a Chinese railroad worker Ma Yuan, played by Jackie Chan; leads a bunch of goofy underdogs to defend East China from the Japanese forces with no weapons. Their plan is to ambush the Japanese by taking advantage of Ma Yuan’s advanced knowledge of the railway system, using the faults of the ancient transportation system in getting to and around the Japanese. Though seemingly rock-solid (LOL) at first, their plan falls through when they fail to realize that the enemy is heavily armed and can easily combat a bunch of military-inexperienced fellows.
What do you think; can they beat the Japanese forces and be reined as the infamous Railroad Tigers? Find out when you watch this new movie in cinema this 29 December!
After looking at the past, get a dose of adventure-filled contemporary action movies with Kung Fu Yoga! The story follows renowned archaeologist Jack (Chan’s character) take on a series of expeditions in different parts of Asia to track down lost Indian treasures from Magadha. He will face a chain of chaotic encounters and double crosses that you cannot believe!
Delve into the crazy world of this adrenaline-induced movie in cinema on 26 January!

The spectacular Jackie Chan, who started out as a Chinese movie extra, received his first ever Honorary Oscar Award last 12th November at the Academy’s Governor Awards. Honorary awards are given to exemplary contributors to the motion picture industry that are not covered by the categories in the Academy Awards of Motion Picture and Sciences. An Asian actor in comedy-infused action films clearly does not belong to any of the categories in the Academy.
”Standing here is a dream. After 56 years in the film industry, making more than 200 films, breaking so many bones, finally this is mine.” He says as he beams with pride and glee at the awarding ceremony.
