Japanese Movies of the Japanese Film Festival 2015: 3 Enthralling Animes You Can’t Miss

The Japanese Film Festival held by the Japan Foundation of Kuala Lumpur kicks off today! We are delighted to announce that among the line-up of Japanese movies that are making it into the regular release of Golden Screen Cinemas for the Japanese Film Festival this year, will be three interesting anime movie titles you don’t want to miss! Brought to you from your local film distributor GSC Movies, we hope to add more variety to this year’s festival with these titles below.

Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin: Blue-Eyed Casval

The first of a four part theatrical series will centre on Casval Deikun, later also known as the infamous Char Aznable, and his sister Artesia. For the fans who did not manage to catch this release last year, or those who would like to see the retelling of the original Gundam series once more will be able to catch Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin: Blue Eyed Casval once again on the big screens. Don’t miss the battle of your favourite mechas in one of the most epic space wars of the anime realm in this year’s Japanese Film Festival.

Initial D Legend 2: Racer

The second part of a three part theatrical series will see the retelling of Initial D in its most captivating high speed glory. Initial D Legend 2: Racer follows Takumi Fujiwara, the mysterious driver of the AE86 and main character of the story, will take things up a notch when he faces of with the street racing team NightKids who has come to take over his crown as the king of Mt. Akina. Fans of Initial D will not want to miss this release of Initial D Legend 2: Racer that’ll keep that fire of street racing aspiration burning more than any action movie ever will.

The Adventures of Tyrano Boy

As mentioned previously, we’d like to add more diversity to the array of Japanese movies and animes in this year’s Japanese Film Festival that’ll cater to both adults and children alike. The Adventures of Tyrano Boy is a film that’ll do just that. Following the baby tyrannosaurus Tron who separated from his parents, the film delivers the message of true strength, courage and love as baby Tron embarks on an adventure, meeting new friends and new challenges in pursuit of reuniting with his parents.
