When director David Fincher brought Gillain Flynn’s twisty, inky black novel ‘Gone Girl’ to the big screens, its copious twists, turns, and final big reveal had viewers feeling thunderstruck. If the sinister plot of ‘Gone Girl’ shocked you, then this upcoming movie by the author/screenwriter will have you reeling.

Dark Places tell the story of Libby Day (Charlize Theron), a woman who at the age of 7, witnessed the horrific massacre of her mother and sisters. Convinced the slaughter to be the doings of a Satanic cult, she testifies in court against her brother. Twenty-five years later, Libby remains haunted by the gruesome violence of her past. When a group obsessed with solving notorious crimes confronts her with questions about the horrific event, she is forced to unearth the painful memories and learn that her past may not be what she initially believed.
